Rebecca Felcey is a French designer and an artistic director. This dual role gives her designs a very creative approach and allow a rereading of the decoration. Moreover her work is nourished by the dialogue between the individual, the “idea” of the designer at the heart of any creative project, and the function of the object, its universality. A recurring theme in Rebecca Felcey’s work is a search for formal and functional mastery, however regularly confronted with the “accident”. The latter becomes an integral part of the creative process. This “deconstruction” gives all its emotion to some of her pieces. The Library «Désordonnier», for instance, stages a hole in the middle of the shelves which is incongruous and harmonious all together. |

Marcel, Low Back Armchair
₪1,202Design by KOK MAISON
Marcel low back armchair is THE iconic model of French rattan. Very popular in French countryside in the early 1900s, it was sold at the time by peddlers who went from village to village. Light and robust, it was sometimes the only element of comfort in modest homes: to knit, smoke, listen to the radio, read by the fire, or chat under the apple tree… Comfortable, simple and robust, it is still trendy today. It can be used as an occasional chair, but its seat height allows it to be used also around a dining table.

Grand Father Rattan Lounger
₪2,854Designer: KOK Maison
The ultimate in comfort in the 1900s, the adjustable natural rattan lounger known as the “grandfather”, has survived the century, to our great delight, and is re-released here by KOK MAISON. The footrest at the front is fixed with two fastenings, or can be retracted under the seat. A superb brass ratchet mechanism behind the backrest offers you four comfortable positions: raised for reading, and then three inclined positions that range from “”a little nap”” to “”sweet dreams””… Pay attention to the two comfortable armrests, and the magnificent “herringbone” pattern weaving, which is entirely hand-crafted.
