Born without feathers, the Bird is a stoneware vase with colored specks. Flowers become its jewelry and blades of grass its whiskers. This little animal’s livery changes with every bouquet. In springtime, after you have put bulbs into its round tummy, tulips grow from holes in its back. According to the seasons and your imagination, the Bird is transformed into a parrot, a humming bird or a bird of paradise.
